Day 1: Arrival in Udaipur – Transfer to Jawai

Arrive in Udaipur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer directly to Jawai, approximately 150 km and around 3.5 hours by road, following the Ranakpur road through the Aravalli hills. Check in at your camp, then head straight into your first leopard safari between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm, tracking the granite outcrops where Jawai’s leopards are most active at dusk. Return to camp for a bonfire dinner under the stars. Overnight stay in Jawai.

Day 2: Jawai Safari and Rabari Village Experience

Start early with a morning leopard safari from 5:00 am to 8:00 am, moving through the boulders and dry riverbeds where leopards share territory with local shepherds. After breakfast, visit Jawai Dam for its birdlife, flamingos, pelicans, cranes and storks, along with marsh crocodiles basking on the rocks. In the afternoon, walk through a nearby Rabari village to see the daily life of Rajasthan’s pastoral herding community. Head out for a second safari between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm, in a different zone of the hills for a fresh chance at a sighting. Overnight stay in Jawai.

Day 3: Jawai – Transfer to Jodhpur

An optional early safari is available for guests wanting one more chance at a sighting before departure. After breakfast, check out and transfer to Jodhpur, approximately 165 km and around 4 hours by road. Check in at your hotel, then spend the evening at the Clock Tower and Sardar Market, browsing the spice and textile stalls of the old city as it lights up. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 4: Jodhpur Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit Mehrangarh Fort for its museum galleries, ramparts and views over the blue-washed old city below. Continue to Jaswant Thada, the marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, before visiting Umaid Bhawan Palace, part royal residence, part museum of Art Deco design. In the afternoon, walk through the narrow lanes of the old Blue City, stopping for a rooftop view over the town at sunset. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 5: Jodhpur Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
