Day 1: Arrival in Udaipur – Transfer to Kumbhalgarh

Arrive in Udaipur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Kumbhalgarh, approximately 85 km and 2 to 3 hours by road through the Aravalli hills. Check in at your hotel, with the afternoon free to settle in. In the evening, attend the sound-and-light show at the fort, tickets bought in advance where currently running. Overnight stay in Kumbhalgarh.

Day 2: Kumbhalgarh Fort & Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast, spend the morning exploring Kumbhalgarh Fort, walking a stretch of its 36 km wall and visiting Badal Mahal at the summit, along with a selection of the temple ruins within the complex. In the afternoon, take a nature walk or jeep safari into Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary, home to leopards, wolves, sloth bears and four-horned antelope. Overnight stay in Kumbhalgarh.

Day 3: Kumbhalgarh – Ranakpur – Transfer to Jawai

After breakfast, check out and drive to Ranakpur, about 30 km and 45 minutes away, timed for the temple’s afternoon opening to non-Jain visitors, to see the marble-pillared halls of the Adinatha Jain temple. Continue on to Jawai, a further 65 to 70 km, arriving by evening. Check in at your camp, then head straight into your first leopard safari between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm, tracking the granite outcrops where Jawai’s leopards are most active at dusk. Overnight stay in Jawai.

Day 4: Jawai Safari and Rabari Village Experience

Start early with a morning leopard safari from 5:00 am to 8:00 am. After breakfast, visit Jawai Dam for its birdlife and resident crocodiles. In the afternoon, walk through a nearby Rabari village to see the daily life of Rajasthan’s pastoral herding community. Head out for a second safari between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Overnight stay in Jawai.

Day 5: Jawai – Udaipur Departure

An optional early safari for guests wanting one more chance at a sighting. After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Udaipur, approximately 150 km and around 3.5 hours by road, for onward departure.
