Day 1: Arrival in Udaipur – Transfer to Jawai

Arrive in Udaipur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Jawai, approximately 150 km and around 3.5 hours by road, following the Ranakpur road through the Aravalli hills. Check in at your camp, then head straight into your first leopard safari between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm, tracking the granite outcrops where Jawai’s leopards are most active at dusk. Return to camp for a bonfire dinner under the stars. Overnight stay in Jawai.

Day 2: Jawai Safari and Rabari Village Experience

Start early with a morning leopard safari from 5:00 am to 8:00 am, moving through the boulders and dry riverbeds where leopards share territory with local shepherds. After breakfast, visit Jawai Dam for its birdlife, flamingos, pelicans, cranes and storks, along with marsh crocodiles basking on the rocks. In the afternoon, walk through a nearby Rabari village to see the daily life of Rajasthan’s pastoral herding community. Head out for a second safari between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm, this time in a different zone of the granite hills for a change of terrain and a fresh chance at a sighting. Overnight stay in Jawai.

Day 3: Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur Jain Temple Excursion

After breakfast, drive out to Kumbhalgarh Fort, around 85 to 90 km from camp, to walk its ramparts, among the longest continuous fortress walls in the world, and visit the nearby Parshuram Mahadev cave temple. On the return, stop at Ranakpur Jain Temple for its marble carving and pillared halls, before heading back to Jawai in the evening. Dinner at camp, with an optional short nature walk or sundowner at a nearby viewpoint if time and light allow. Overnight stay in Jawai.

Day 4: Jawai – Udaipur Departure

An optional early safari is available for guests wanting one more chance at a sighting before departure. After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Udaipur, approximately 3.5 hours by road. Drop at Udaipur for onward departure.
