Day 01: Leh Arrival and Acclimatization

Arrival at Leh airport where you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check in; the day is reserved for complete rest and acclimatization with welcome tea and coffee served by the hotel, allowing you to relax and adjust to the altitude. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 02: Leh Sightseeing Market and Monuments

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing covering Leh Market, the historic Leh Palace, the serene Shanti Stupa, the curious Magnetic Hill, the Hall of Fame museum, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the confluence of the Zanskar and Indus rivers, enjoying panoramic views and local culture throughout the day. Day 03: Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass

After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La pass — one of the highest motorable roads in the world — admiring spectacular snow capped mountain vistas at Khardung La (18,390 feet) before descending to Nubra; en route enjoy optional adventure activities like ATV rides on direct payment basis, check in at the hotel and visit the 108 ft Maitreya Buddha at Diskit monastery, explore Diskit monastery, Hunder village and the cold desert where the unique double humped camels are found, and enjoy sand dunes with optional double humped camel rides on direct payment basis. Day 04: Turtuk Thang and Local Heritage

After breakfast drive to Turtuk (opened for tourists since 2010), passing Thoise military airfield and visiting Turtuk wooden bridge, the Shyok war memorial, the Balti Heritage House and Museum and Turtuk waterfalls; later proceed to Thang (Zero Point) subject to operation for a photo stop near the Line of Control to observe bunkers and the Shyok river before returning to Nubra for the night. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 05: Pangong Lake via Shyok and Tangtse

Following breakfast depart Nubra and drive the route back towards Leh to Khalsar, then take the left at Agyam bridge towards Shyok and Durbuk and onward via Tangtse to Pangong Lake (around 14,000 ft); explore the lake shore, visit the 3 Idiots filming point, sample local food at lakeside restaurants, enjoy the colour changing waters and a spectacular sunset on the banks of the lake. Overnight stay in Pangong.

Day 06: Hanle Loma Band and Changthang Villages

After breakfast drive to Hanle (route may take 6 to 7 hours over partial rocky terrain) with opportunities to visit Merak, Kastet, Chusul, Loma and Tsaga villages en route; arrive in Hanle in the Changthang region, visit the 17th century Hanle monastery of the Drukpa lineage with panoramic village views, and note the Indian astronomical observatory located here at about 4500 metres. Overnight stay in a local homestay.

Day 07: Hanle Sunrise and Return to Leh

Early morning enjoy the picturesque sunrise before breakfast, then embark on the return drive to Leh covering the long scenic route back; relax on arrival and spend the evening at leisure in Leh. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 08: Leh Departure and Journey Ends

Early morning transfer to Leh airport for your onward flight, concluding the tour with sweet memories of Ladakh.
