Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi and Evening Ganga Aarti

On arrival at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station you will be met and greeted and transferred to the hotel. Varanasi, one of the oldest living cities and the home of Lord Shiva and Parvati, offers a unique spiritual atmosphere where the Ganges is believed to wash away sins; after freshening up at the hotel you will proceed in the evening to witness the iconic Ganga Aarti at the ghats where priests perform the lamp ceremony accompanied by devotional songs, creating a powerful spiritual experience. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 2: Varanasi Morning Boat Ride and Sarnath Visit

Begin early with an optional boat ride on the Ganges to view the morning rituals, the various ghats and the burning ghat (boat ride at own cost), then visit the popular Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Annapurna Temple before returning to the hotel for breakfast; after breakfast proceed to Sarnath, the serene Buddhist pilgrimage site about 10 km from Varanasi, to explore its stupas, excavated sites and museum, and then return to Varanasi for the evening.

Day 3: Varanasi to Prayagraj Excursion by Road

After breakfast depart by road for a full day excursion to Prayagraj (approx. 120 kms / 3 hrs one way); on arrival visit the sacred Triveni Sangam where the Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati meet, explore Anand Bhawan the Nehru family residence turned museum, stroll through the Mughal-era Khusro Bagh and see the unique underground Bade Hanuman Mandir, and afterwards return to Varanasi. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 4: Varanasi Temple Tour and Departure

After breakfast check out and proceed for a temple tour of Varanasi visiting Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple by the Assi river, Tulsi Manas Mandir with inscriptions from the Ram Charit Manas, Bharat Mata Mandir which houses a relief map of India, and the Durga Temple near Durga Ghat; after the temple visits proceed to Varanasi Airport or Railway Station to board your onward flight or train.
