Day 1: Arrival at Varanasi

On arrival at Varanasi by flight or train you will be received at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station and transferred to your hotel; after check in and some rest you will experience the ancient aura of Varanasi, a city sacred to Shiva where the Ganges is believed to cleanse sins and which has inspired travellers for centuries; in the evening proceed to the ghats to witness the soul-stirring Ganga Aarti with priests performing lamp rituals and devotional songs facing the river. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 2: Varanasi Local Sightseeing

Start early with a boat ride on the Ganges to view morning rituals at the ghats, the unique character of each ghat and the burning ghat where cremations take place (boat ride at own cost); after the boat ride return to the hotel for breakfast and then visit the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple and nearby Annapurna Temple; post temple visits proceed to Sarnath, about 10 kilometres from Varanasi, to explore its serene stupas, excavated sites and museums that mark the Buddha’s first sermon, then return to Varanasi for the evening. Day 3: Varanasi Temple Tour and Departure

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed for a final temple tour of Varanasi visiting the principal temples and sacred spots as per the itinerary, after which you will be transferred to Varanasi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey and conclude the tour.
