Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi and Ganga Aarti

On arrival at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station, meet and greet followed by transfer to the hotel. Spend the day settling in and absorbing the atmosphere of one of the world’s oldest living cities, Banaras, famed as the home of Lord Shiva and Parvati and for the sacred River Ganges which is believed to wash away sins. In the evening proceed to the river ghats to witness the famous Ganga Aarti where priests perform the ritual with lit lamps, devotional songs and circumambulation of the lamps, creating a powerful spiritual experience. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 2: Varanasi Boat Ride and Kashi Vishwanath Temple

Start early with a morning boat ride on the Ganges to view the sunrise over the ghats, morning rituals, distinctive ghats and the burning ghat where cremations take place (boat ride at own cost). After the boat ride visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and nearby Annapurna Temple, then return to the hotel for breakfast. Post breakfast check out and proceed by surface to Ayodhya (approx. 220 kms / 3 hours). Upon arrival in Ayodhya complete hotel formalities and relax. Overnight stay in Ayodhya.

Day 3: Ayodhya Ramjanmabhoomi and Hanuman Garhi

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day of Ayodhya sightseeing including Ramjanma Bhoomi believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama, Hanuman Garhi where Lord Hanuman is worshipped and which is customarily visited before the Ram temple, Kanak Bhawan also known as Sone ka Ghar dedicated to Lord Rama and Sita, and Sita Ki Rasoi the historic kitchen associated with Goddess Sita. After completing the sightseeing return by surface to Varanasi (approx. 220 kms / 4 hours) and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 4: Varanasi Sankat Mochan and Temple Tour

After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed for a temple tour of Varanasi visiting Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple by River Assi, Tulsi Manas Mandir dedicated to Lord Rama with inscriptions from the Ram Charit Manas, Bharat Mata Mandir featuring the marble relief map of India, and Durga Temple near Durga Ghat which houses an imposing idol of Goddess Durga. After the temple visits proceed to Varanasi Railway Station or Airport to board your onward train or flight.
