Day 01: Leh Arrival and Acclimatization

On arrival at Leh airport you will be met and transferred to the hotel for check in; the full day is free for rest and acclimatization to the high altitude with light local strolls as advised by the guide to help adjust. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 02: Uleytokpo Alchi and Lamayuru Visit

After breakfast drive to Uleytokpo / Lamayuru with enroute visits to Spituk Kali Mata Temple, the Hall of Fame War Museum built by the Indian Army, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, the Magnetic Hill where vehicles appear to defy gravity and the Sangam of the Indus and Zanskar rivers; continue to Lamayuru Monastery to witness the mesmerizing moon landscape before hotel check in. Overnight stay in Uleytokpo / Lamayuru.

Day 03: Leh Alchi and Likir Visit

After breakfast drive back to Leh calling at Alchi village to visit the ancient Alchi Monastery with its 11th to 12th century Indo Himalayan wall paintings, and at Likir to see the Klu kkhyil Gompa and its large gilded Buddha; later visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and Leh market. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 04: Nubra Valley Khardung La and Diskit

After breakfast depart for Nubra Valley via Khardung La pass (one of the highest motorable roads) enjoying panoramic snow capped mountain views; on arrival check in and visit Diskit Monastery and the 108 foot Maitreya Buddha, explore Hunder village and the cold desert with sand dunes where double humped camel rides are available on direct payment basis. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 05: Nubra Turtuk and Thang Visit

After breakfast drive to Turtuk passing Thoise airfield, visit the Turtuk wooden bridge, Shyok war memorial, Balti Heritage House and Museum and Turtuk waterfalls; proceed to Thang for a photo stop at the Line of Control vicinity (subject to operational permissions) before returning to Nubra. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 06: Pangong Lake via Shyok and Tangtse

Following breakfast drive from Nubra via Khalsar and the Shyok route through Durbuk and Tangtse to Pangong Lake; explore the lake area, visit local shooting locations made famous by films, try local food at lakeshore restaurants and enjoy the colour changing lake and sunset on the banks. Overnight stay in Pangong.

Day 07: Tso Moriri Chushul and Karzok

After breakfast drive to Tso Moriri via Chushul and Karzok across the remote Changthang plateau, enjoy the isolated high altitude drive and spend the evening watching the shifting colors and reflections on the vast Tso Moriri lake. Overnight stay in Tso Moriri.

Day 08: Leh Tsokar and Tanglang La

Post breakfast check out and drive to Tsokar lake to view the white salt deposits and birdlife, continue to join the Manali Leh highway and cross Tanglang La pass with its dramatic high altitude vistas before arriving back in Leh for dinner. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 09: Leh Shey and Hemis Visit

After breakfast visit Sindhu Darshan on the banks of the Indus, Shey Palace, Hemis Gompa, Thiksey Monastery and the Druk White Lotus School (Rancho School) with time for some leisure and local shopping in Leh. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 10: Leh Departure and Airport Transfer

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board your flight back to your onward destination. Tour ends with sweet memories.
