Day 1: Bangalore – Mysore

Depart Bangalore by road, approximately 150 km and 3 to 3.5 hours via NH275. Check in at your hotel by early afternoon. Visit Mysore Palace, the seat of the Wodeyar dynasty, followed by sunset at Chamundi Hill, home to Chamundeshwari Temple. Overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 2: Srirangapatna

After breakfast, a day trip to Srirangapatna, about 15 to 18 km away, once Tipu Sultan’s island capital. Visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangapatna Fort and the Water Gate, Daria Daulat Bagh, and Gumbaz, the domed mausoleum of Tipu Sultan and Hyder Ali. Return to Mysore by evening. Overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 3: Mysore – Belur

After breakfast, check out and drive to Belur, approximately 150 km and 3.5 to 4 hours. Check in by early afternoon, then visit Chennakeshava Temple, built in 1117 CE by the Hoysala king Vishnuvardhana. Overnight stay in Belur.

Day 4: Halebid and Sravanabelagola

After breakfast, drive to Halebid, about 16 km away, to see Hoysaleswara Temple and the adjoining Kedareshwara Temple. Continue to Sravanabelagola, about 50 km away, home to the 57-foot monolithic Gomateshwara statue, reached by a climb of roughly 600 steps. Return to Belur by evening. Overnight stay in Belur.

Day 5: Belur – Hampi

After an early breakfast, check out and depart on the long drive to Hampi, approximately 330 to 350 km and 7 to 8 hours via Hassan and Chitradurga. Arrive by evening and check in. Overnight stay in Hampi.

Day 6: Hampi Sightseeing – Bazaar Group

After breakfast, visit Virupaksha Temple, Hemakuta Hill, and the Royal Enclosure zone, covering the Elephant Stables, Lotus Mahal, Queen’s Bath, and the Underground Shiva Temple. Evening sunset from Matanga Hill. Overnight stay in Hampi.

Day 7: Hampi Sightseeing – Vittala Temple Group

After breakfast, visit Vittala Temple, home to the stone chariot and pillared mandapa, followed by Hazara Rama Temple. In the afternoon, an optional coracle ride across the Tungabhadra, water levels permitting. Overnight stay in Hampi.

Day 8: Hampi – Badami

After breakfast, check out and drive to Badami, approximately 140 km and 3.5 hours. Check in by early afternoon, then visit Badami Cave Temples, the four rock-cut sanctuaries overlooking Agastya Lake, followed by the Bhutanatha Temple group. Overnight stay in Badami.

Day 9: Badami – Pattadakal – Aihole – Badami

After an early breakfast, drive to Pattadakal, about 22 km, a UNESCO World Heritage cluster of 7th and 8th century temples marking the transition point of Chalukya temple architecture. Continue to Aihole, a further 14 km, known as the cradle of Hindu temple architecture, the Durga Temple chief among them. Return to Badami by evening. Overnight stay in Badami.

Day 10: Badami – Bangalore Departure

After breakfast, check out and depart on the return drive to Bangalore, approximately 450 km and 8 to 9 hours, arriving late evening.
