Day 01: Arrival Nairobi and Leisure
Pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport upon arrival and transfer to your hotel where the rest of the day is at leisure to rest or explore independently; lunch and dinner on this day are not included. Overnight stay in Nairobi.
Day 02: Nairobi to Amboseli and Wildlife Views
After breakfast depart Nairobi by road via the Nairobi Mombasa highway toward Amboseli National Park, passing Maasai villages and Rift Valley scenery; arrive and begin game viewing in the acacia woodlands and wetlands below Mount Kilimanjaro where buffalo, lion, cheetah, hyena, zebra and wildebeest are commonly sighted and the snow capped peak of Kilimanjaro frames the landscape. Overnight stay in Amboseli.
Day 03: Full Day Amboseli Game Viewing
Spend a full day in Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives focusing on the park’s wetlands and plains that attract diverse wildlife and birds, enjoying extensive views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the Maasai culture visible around the park. Overnight stay in Amboseli.
Day 04: Amboseli to Lake Elementaita and Rift Valley Views
Check out after breakfast and drive up to the Rift Valley floor with a stop at the famous Rift Valley Viewpoint, then continue to the Lake Elementaita area arriving in time for lunch; the afternoon is at leisure at the lodge to enjoy the hotel amenities and surrounding birdlife. Overnight stay in Lake Elementaita.
Day 05: Lake Elementaita to Maasai Mara and Afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast check out and drive east to the world‑renowned Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch; the early afternoon is at leisure to freshen up and enjoy the camp, then join your driver guide for an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge before dusk. Overnight stay in Maasai Mara.
Day 06: Full Day Maasai Mara and Optional Activities
Spend a full day on game drives across the Maasai Mara with opportunities to see the big five and other wildlife, and choose optional extras (at additional cost) such as a sunrise hot air balloon safari for aerial views of the plains or a visit to a Maasai village to experience traditional song, dance and local culture. Overnight stay in Maasai Mara.
Day 07: Maasai Mara to Nairobi and Departure

Our 6N/7D Kenya safari with Ocean6 Holidays Travel Agent was an unforgettable family adventure. Amboseli National Park was breathtaking, especially seeing large elephant herds with snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Our children were thrilled to spot zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and many colourful birds during the game drives. The peaceful stay near Lake Elementaita provided a welcome break before continuing to the Maasai Mara. Every hotel, road transfer and safari activity was well coordinated. The itinerary offered an excellent balance of wildlife, scenery and relaxation, making the entire trip comfortable and enjoyable for our family.
As a wildlife photography enthusiast, I found this Kenya tour organised by Ocean6 Holidays Travel Agent exceptionally rewarding. Amboseli offered incredible photographic opportunities, with elephants, wetlands and acacia trees framed against Mount Kilimanjaro. Lake Elementaita provided beautiful Rift Valley landscapes and impressive birdlife, while the Maasai Mara delivered memorable encounters with lions, buffalo, cheetahs and large grazing herds. The morning and afternoon game drives allowed us to photograph wildlife in different lighting conditions. Our driver-guide was knowledgeable, patient and skilled at positioning the vehicle without disturbing the animals. The entire safari was efficiently organised from arrival to airport drop-off.
