Three days of game drives in the Maasai Mara provided enough time to explore different areas and observe animal behaviour rather than simply rushing between sightings. We photographed black-maned lions, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs and numerous hoofed animals. The reserve’s rich birdlife was equally impressive. Ending the journey in Mombasa was an excellent decision, as the quiet beach days and guided yoga sessions offered welcome relaxation after the intensive safari experience. The entire tour was efficient and well organised.
