Day 01: Srinagar to Kargil Sonmarg and Zojila

On arrival at Srinagar Airport drive through picturesque villages to Sonmarg (2,740 m) and proceed over the rough and scenic route to Zojila Pass (3,527 m) gateway to Ladakh; continue via Drass (second coldest inhabited place) with a tea break and passport check, visit the Drass War Memorial Hall and Museum, then drive to Kargil (2,710 m) which gained prominence after Ladakh opened for tourists in 1974. Overnight stay in Kargil.

Day 02: Kargil to Leh Fotula and Magnetic Hill

After breakfast depart Kargil for Leh, crossing panoramic high-altitude terrain including the village of Mulbek with its giant Buddha rock sculpture and the highest pass on this route Fotu La (13,749 ft); continue via Nimu with views of the Zanskar and Indus confluence, visit Magnetic Hill and Pathar Sahib Gurudwara before arriving in Leh (3,500 m). Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 03: Leh Local Shey and Hemis

After breakfast visit Sindhu Darshan on the Indus River, proceed to Shey Palace the ancient summer capital of Ladakh, explore Hemis Gompa—one of the largest and wealthiest monasteries built in 1630 with fine wall paintings and Thangka—and visit Thiksey Monastery perched on a hill with stupas and Buddha iconography; later drive to the Druk White Lotus Rancho School and enjoy some free time in Leh. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 04: Leh to Nubra Khardungla and Diskit

After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (one of the highest motorable roads at about 18,390 ft), enjoy the spectacular snow‑capped mountain views en route, descend to Nubra and after hotel check‑in visit the 108 ft Maitreya Buddha at Diskit Monastery and Hunder Sand Dunes where optional double‑humped camel rides are available on direct payment basis; optional ATV rides may be available locally. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 05: Nubra to Pangong Shyok and Pangong Lake

Drive from Nubra following the route to Khalsar, turn left at Agyam bridge toward the villages of Shyok and Durbuk, continue via Tangtse and follow the traditional route to Pangong Lake (around 14,000 ft), explore the lake shore (partly in Chinese territory), visit the 03 Idiot shooting point, sample local food at lakeside restaurants and enjoy the colour‑changing lake and sunset. Overnight stay in Pangong.

Day 06: Pangong to Leh Changla Pass Return

Early morning witness the sunrise over Pangong Lake, then after breakfast drive back to Leh with a short halt at Changla Pass for refreshments and views before arriving in Leh. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 07: Leh Departure Airport Transfer
