Day 01: Welcome to Almaty and Oi Qaragai Mountain Resort

Arrive Almaty where you will be met after immigration and baggage by our English speaking office staff in the arrival hall and at 1600 meet your tour guide for transfer to the picturesque Oi Qaragai Mountain Resort about 40 minutes from Almaty; on arrival you will feel as though you are in Europe surrounded by Tien Shan foothills offering comfortable rooms, healthy meals and Eurasian hospitality, check in at 1730 and spend the remainder of the day at leisure exploring the property and its surroundings with dinner available at any of the five on‑site restaurants (direct payment). Overnight stay in Oi Qaragai Mountain Resort.

Day 02: Oi Qaragai Mountain Resort and Leisure Activities

Breakfast at the resort followed by a full day at leisure to enjoy the resort’s activities such as Paint Ball, Hiking Tours, Mountain Cart, Archery, Rope Park, Climbing Wall Park, Zip Line, Horse Riding and Spa; lunches and dinners are available at any of the five on‑site restaurants (direct payment). Overnight stay in Oi Qaragai Mountain Resort.

Day 03: Welcome to Almaty and Panfilov Promenade walking

Breakfast, check out at midday and meet your English speaking tour guide and driver for transfer to your city hotel and check in, then in the evening enjoy a walking tour of Panfilov Promenade which overlooks the Kazakh Opera and Ballet theatre with shops, eateries and local musicians, the walk ends on Arbat street where you can explore cafes and shops; dinner at your chosen restaurant (direct payment) before hotel drop off. Overnight stay in Almaty.

Day 04: Issyk Lake and Falcon Show

After breakfast travel into the Trans‑Ili Alatau to visit Issyk Lake where you can hike to cliffs known as the Kremlin walls, see Saka period burial mounds, the Ostrich Farm and Issyk Barrow, relax by the turquoise lake and enjoy the mountain scenery; after lunch (direct payment) visit the Almarasan Gorge area (note the trail and some access restrictions) and later attend a falcon show at a local falcon farm with opportunities to view and photograph birds of prey, then return to the city for dinner at your choice (direct payment) and hotel drop off. Day 05: Panfilov Park and KokTobe Hill

Breakfast then visit Panfilov Park and the striking Zenkov Cathedral with its historical memorials and unique construction, spend time enjoying the park atmosphere, followed by lunch at your choice (direct payment) and later take the cable car near Hotel Kazakhstan up to KokTobe Hill for panoramic city and mountain views, attractions and restaurants on the hill; return for dinner at your chosen restaurant (direct payment) and hotel drop off. Day 06: Shymbulak Ski Resort and Green Bazaar with Rakhat Chocolate Shop

Breakfast then proceed by gondola to level 3 at Shymbulak Ski Resort with services of an English speaking guide to enjoy mountain views and resort facilities (Shymbulak sits at about 2260 m in the Zailiyskiy Alatau), after lunch (direct payment) visit the Zelyony Green Bazaar for local shopping and produce and the neighboring Rakhat Chocolate shop for local confectionery, then return to the hotel for dinner at your chosen restaurant (direct payment) and hotel drop off. Day 07: Return Home from Almaty
