Day 01: Almaty Arrival and Hotel Check in

Welcome to Almaty, Kazakhstan. After clearing customs and immigration and collecting your baggage you will be met by your English speaking driver cum guide in the arrival hall who will escort you to your vehicle where chocolates and refreshing napkins will be served and complimentary Wi Fi provided; enjoy the drive to your hotel and complete check in to your room in the evening, dinner is on your own and you will be dropped at the hotel for a good night’s rest. Overnight stay in Almaty.

Day 02: Almaty Shymbulak Ski Resort and Arbat

After breakfast at the hotel you will proceed to Shymbulak Ski resort by the three tier gondola to reach up to 3200 meters where you can enjoy mountain views, cafes, observation decks, family entertainment and optional adventure activities such as zip lining, paragliding and horse riding; enjoy lunch on your own at Shymbulak or in the city, return to your hotel for some relaxation, then take an evening walking tour of the Panfilov promenade and Arbat street with local musicians, street entertainment and shopping, have dinner at your choice of restaurant and return to the hotel for the night. Day 03: Almaty Oi Qaragai Resort Retreat

After breakfast check out and transfer to Oi Qaragai Mountain Resort nestled in the Tien Shan foothills where you will arrive for check in in the early afternoon; spend the day enjoying the resort’s serene natural surroundings with options for hiking, horseback riding and adventure park activities, enjoy lunch at the resort or nearby cafes on your own and relax amid picturesque landscapes, have dinner as per your choice and stay overnight at the boutique resort. Day 04: Almaty Issyk Lake and Kok Tobe

Following breakfast depart for Issyk Lake where you can hike to the cliffs known as the Kremlin walls, visit historical sites such as Saka burial mounds, the Ostrich Farm and Issyk Barrow and enjoy the turquoise lake and riverside scenery; lunch is on your own at an Indian restaurant, then arrive and check in to your hotel for relaxation before heading to Kok Tobe by cable car at sunset for panoramic city and mountain views and attractions on the hill, return to the city for dinner on your own and a hotel drop off for the night. Overnight stay in Almaty.

Day 05: Almaty Charyn Canyon and Kolsai Lake

After breakfast depart early for Charyn Canyon to explore the dramatic landscapes including the Valley of Castles and other scenic gorges, walk along river trails and take in the canyon vistas before proceeding to Kolsai Lake where lunch is on your own at Namaste Kolsai Indian restaurant and you can enjoy time at the lake and surrounding nature, then return to Almaty in the evening for hotel drop off and relaxation. Day 06: Almaty Departure and Airport Transfer

Have a packed breakfast, complete hotel check out by midday and our driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight home or onward destination; this marks the end of the tour services. No overnight stay as the tour concludes.
