Day 1: Arrival in Bangalore / Coimbatore – Transfer to Avalanche

Arrive in Bangalore or Coimbatore and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to the Avalanche area of Ooty, climbing through the Nilgiri slopes past Mettupalayam and the hairpin bends of the Coonoor ghat road. En route, stop at Ketti Valley View Point and the pine forest stretch at Shooting Point, 9th Mile. Continue past Wenlock Downs to Avalanche and check in at your stay. Spend the rest of the evening around the Emerald Lake backwaters and the surrounding shola grassland, where the light drops early and the air turns cold well before sunset. Overnight stay in Avalanche.

Day 2: Avalanche and Offbeat Ooty Sightseeing

After breakfast, enter the Avalanche Reserve Forest through the forest check post and visit Avalanche Lake and the shola trail alongside it. Subject to permit availability, continue to Upper Bhavani through Emerald and Red Hills, one of the quietest high-altitude stretches in the Nilgiris. Return for lunch and visit Emerald Dam, the Toda settlement at Bikkapathi Mund, and the tea slopes around Yelanalli village. End the day at Red Hills viewpoint for sunset over the Kundah range. Overnight stay in Avalanche.

Day 3: Avalanche – Bangalore / Coimbatore Departure

Start early with Kamaraj Sagar Dam and the Glenmorgan viewpoint above the Singara valley. Return to the property for breakfast and check out. Drive out via Pykara Lake, Pykara Falls, and the Sandynallah stretch before descending the ghat road. Transfer back to Coimbatore or Bangalore for your departure.
