Day 01: Arrival Almaty and Evening at Leisure

You will be met at arrival by your English speaking guide after immigration and baggage formalities and escorted to your vehicle where chocolates and refreshing napkins will be served and complimentary Wi Fi is available; enjoy the drive to your hotel and complete check in, spend the evening at leisure with dinner of your choice (on own) and hotel drop off at night. Overnight stay in Almaty.

Day 02: Almaty Altyn Emel and Singing Dunes

Today you visit Altyn Emel National Park to marvel at the famous Singing Sand Dunes, view ancient petroglyphs, and observe the park’s diverse wildlife and landscapes; enjoy lunch at an open restaurant of your choice (on own), then return to Almaty through scenic villages and steppes, arriving back in the evening for dinner on your own and hotel drop off. Overnight stay in Almaty.

Day 03: Almaty Shymbulak and KokTobe Visit

After breakfast at the hotel, take the three tier gondola to Shymbulak Ski Resort and ascend to around 3200 meters to enjoy mountain cafes, observation areas, family entertainment and optional adventure activities; have lunch at Shymbulak or in the city (on own), return to the hotel to relax, then visit KokTobe Hill by cable car for panoramic city and mountain views, attractions and restaurants, followed by dinner on your own and hotel drop off. Overnight stay in Almaty.

Day 04: Almaty Charyn Canyon and Kolsai Lake

Depart early to Charyn Canyon to explore the 12 million year old landscapes including the Valley of Castles and other scenic gorges, walk along trails and enjoy riverside views; proceed to Kolsai, have lunch at Namaste Kolsai Indian restaurant (on own) and spend time at Kolsai Lake before returning to Almaty in the evening for hotel drop and relaxation. Overnight stay in Almaty.

Day 05: Almaty Alma Arasan and Falcon Show

After breakfast visit the Alma Arasan gorge area (note access conditions as described at site), enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant (on own), attend a falconry show at a local farm with opportunities to view and photograph birds of prey, then spend late afternoon shopping at Almaty’s malls such as Dostyk Plaza, Esentai Mall and Mega Mall, followed by dinner on your own and hotel drop off. Overnight stay in Almaty.

Day 06: Almaty Departure and Airport Transfer

Early morning packed breakfast and hotel check out between 0400 and 0430, transfer to the airport for your onward flight. No overnight stay.
