Day 1: Arrival in Jaipur – Transfer to Samod

Arrive in Jaipur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Samod, approximately 45 km and about an hour to 90 minutes by road through the Aravalli hills. Check in at your property, then spend the afternoon at Samod Fort, climbing its 300 steps to the secret underground passage and panoramic views over the village below, or simply settle into the property’s own courtyards and pool if you’d rather ease into the pace. Dinner at the property in the evening. Overnight stay in Samod.

Day 2: Samod Village Experience

After breakfast, take a camel or jeep safari through the Aravalli hills into Samod village, meeting local farmers and craftspeople and seeing traditional rural life and cattle milking firsthand. Visit Samod Bagh, the 20-acre Mughal garden a short drive from the fort, for a walk through its fountains and orchards. In the afternoon, join a local block-print workshop or a traditional puppet show. Guests who’ve booked in advance can add an early-morning hot air balloon ride over the Aravalli ranges, weather and wind permitting. Overnight stay in Samod.

Day 3: Samod – Jaipur Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Jaipur, approximately an hour to 90 minutes by road, for onward departure.
