Day 1: Bangalore – Mysore

Depart Bangalore by road, approximately 150 km and 3 to 3.5 hours via NH275. Check in at your hotel by early afternoon. Visit the KSIC Silk Factory and Showroom, established in 1912 by Maharaja Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar and now run by the Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation, to see the weaving process, from reeling to gold-zari border work, and browse the attached showroom. In the evening, visit Cauvery Arts & Crafts Emporium, the state-run craft outlet, for a broader look at Karnataka’s textile and handicraft traditions. Overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 2: Mysore Palace and Saree Shopping

After breakfast, visit Mysore Palace, the seat of the Wodeyar dynasty and the same royal patronage that established the silk industry a century ago. Day 3: Channapatna – Bangalore Departure
