Day 1: Bangalore – Sakleshpur

Depart Bangalore by road, approximately 220 km and 4.5 to 5 hours via NH75. Check in at your coffee estate homestay by early to mid-afternoon. After settling in, visit Manjarabad Fort, about 5 to 6 km from town, an eight-pointed star-shaped fort built by Tipu Sultan in 1792 with French military architects, and a short, easy climb of around 30 minutes. On the way back, stop at Sri Sakleshwara Swamy Temple on the banks of the Hemavathi river. Evening at leisure with a walk through the coffee estate. Overnight stay in Sakleshpur.

Day 2: Bisle Ghat Viewpoint

After an early breakfast, drive to Bisle Ghat, about 42 to 48 km from town, one of the finer viewpoints in the Western Ghats, framed by the Bisle Reserve Forest, with a walk within the reserve to the viewpoint itself. This runs the better part of the day given the distance and terrain. Return to Sakleshpur by evening for a relaxed dinner at the estate. Overnight stay in Sakleshpur.

Day 3: Belur and Halebid Hoysala Temples

After breakfast, drive to Belur, about 35 to 37 km away, to visit Chennakeshava Temple, built in 1117 CE on the banks of the Yagachi River, known for its intricate Madanika sculptures and Narasimha pillar. Continue to Halebid, a further 16 km, to see Hoysaleswara Temple and the adjoining Kedareshwara Temple, among the finest examples of Hoysala stone carving anywhere in Karnataka. Return to Sakleshpur by evening. Overnight stay in Sakleshpur.

Day 4: Estate Morning – Sakleshpur – Bangalore Departure

After breakfast, spend the morning at a relaxed pace, either a guided walk through the coffee plantation or a short visit to Magajahalli Waterfall, an easy 2 km trail through areca and coffee estates. Check out and depart on the return drive to Bangalore, arriving by early evening.
