Day 1: Arrival Varanasi and Ganga Aarti

Upon arrival at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station, you will be met and greeted and transferred to your hotel in Varanasi. Varanasi, also known as Kashi or Banaras, is one of the oldest living cities in the world and holds immense spiritual significance on the banks of the River Ganges; Mark Twain famously observed its timeless character. After some rest, proceed in the evening to experience the devotional Ganga Aarti at the ghats, where priests perform a lamp ceremony with hymns and ritual circling of lamps facing the Ganges, creating a powerful and sacred atmosphere. Day 2: Varanasi Ghats and Sarnath Visit

Begin early with an optional morning boat ride on the Ganges to view the sunrise rituals, the various ghats including the burning ghat, and the riverbank life (boat ride at own cost). After the boat ride, visit the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the nearby Annapurna Temple, then return to the hotel for breakfast. Post breakfast, proceed to Sarnath, the peaceful Buddhist site about 10 kilometres from Varanasi, where you can explore stupas, archaeological remains, museums and temples that mark the spot where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon, before returning to Varanasi for the night. Day 3: Varanasi Temple Tour and Ramnagar Fort

After breakfast, set out for a temple tour of Varanasi starting with Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple by Assi River, followed by Tulsi Manas Mandir devoted to Lord Rama and featuring inscriptions from the Ramcharitmanas, then the unique Bharat Mata Mandir housing a relief map of India, and the Durga Temple located near Durga Ghat. Later, proceed to Ramnagar Fort on the eastern bank of the Ganges, a sandstone Rajputana style fort built in 1750 by Maharaja Balwant Singh, before returning to your hotel. Day 4: Departure from Varanasi and Check Out
