Day 01: Srinagar to Sonmarg Thajiwas Glacier

On arrival at Srinagar Airport drive to the panoramic village of Sonmarg (approx 2740–2800 metres), known as the Meadow of Gold and one of the most beautiful drives from Srinagar; you may take a pony ride at your own cost to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains year round and enjoy the backdrop of snowy mountains and cerulean skies. Overnight stay in Sonmarg.

Day 02: Sonmarg to Kargil Zojila Pass

After breakfast depart Sonmarg and drive via the rough and wet road to Zojila Pass (approx 3527 metres), the Gateway to Ladakh; continue to Drass (tea stop and passport check), visit the Drass War Memorial and museum, then proceed to Kargil (approx 2710 metres) where you arrive in the evening. Overnight stay in Kargil.

Day 03: Kargil to Leh Fotu La

After breakfast drive towards Leh crossing Mulbek (giant rock Buddha), ascend Fotu La (highest pass on the Srinagar–Leh route), continue to Nimu with views of the Zanskar and Indus confluence, visit Magnetic Hill and Pathar Sahib Gurudwara en route, and reach Leh (approx 3500 metres) in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 04: Leh Local Shey Hemis Thiksey

After breakfast visit Sindhu Darshan on the Indus bank, proceed to Shey Palace (ancient summer capital), then Hemis Gompa (the largest Drukpa Kagyu monastery with wall paintings and thangkas), Thiksey Monastery with its stupas and Buddha imagery, Rancho School (Druk White Lotus), Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and local market; return to Leh by evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 05: Leh to Nubra Khardung La

After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (one of the highest motorable passes at approx 18,390 feet), enjoy panoramic snow‑capped views, continue to Nubra Valley, check in at the hotel, visit Diskit monastery to see the 108 ft Maitreya Buddha and Hunder sand dunes where double‑humped camel rides are available on direct payment. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 06: Nubra Turtuk Thang

After breakfast drive to Turtuk (opened to tourists in 2010), pass Thoise airfield, visit the Turtuk wooden bridge, Shyok war memorial, Balti Heritage House and museum, and Turtuk Waterfalls; proceed to Thang (Zero Point) subject to operation for a photo stop at the Line of Control area, then return to Nubra. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 07: Nubra to Pangong Shyok Lake

After breakfast drive back towards Leh till Khalsar, then turn left at Agyam bridge towards Shyok and Durbuk, follow the route via Tangtse to Pangong Lake (situated around 14,000 ft) where you can explore the lake shore, visit popular shooting points, try local food at lake‑side outlets, and enjoy the colour‑changing lake at sunset. Overnight stay in Pangong.

Day 08: Pangong to Leh Chang La

Early morning enjoy sunrise over Pangong Lake, after breakfast drive back to Leh with a short halt at Chang La for tea and views, and arrive in Leh by evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 09: Leh Departure Airport

Early morning transfers to Leh airport to board your flight back to destination. Journey ends with sweet memories of Ladakh.
