Day 1: Arrival in Jamshedpur – Transfer to Ghatshila

Arrive in Jamshedpur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Ghatshila, a quiet river town on the Subarnarekha long associated with Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay. After checking in at your hotel or riverside resort, visit the writer’s house at Dahigora, followed by Ratmohana on the Subarnarekha. End the day at the riverside ghats, watching the sunset over the water. Overnight stay in Ghatshila.

Day 2: Ghatshila Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive to Dharagiri Falls and walk down to the pool at its base, subject to water flow and access. Continue to Galudih Barrage on the Subarnarekha and the Narwa Forest stretch nearby. In the afternoon, visit Burudih Lake against the low hills, followed by Phuldungri Hill and the forest path below it. Return to Ghatshila for the evening market. Overnight stay in Ghatshila.

Day 3: Ghatshila – Dalma Foothills

Start with an early morning walk along the Subarnarekha and a stop at Panchpandav rock formation on the riverbank. Return for breakfast and check out, then drive towards the Dalma range, stopping at Rankini Temple in Jadugora and the Hindustan Copper township viewpoint on the way. Check in at your hotel at the Dalma foothills or in Jamshedpur. In the afternoon, visit Dimna Lake, set against the Dalma range, for the sunset over the water. Overnight stay at Dalma foothills.

Day 4: Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary

Start early and drive to the Makulakocha gate for entry permits and a stop at the Nature Interpretation Centre. Ascend the hill road through sal forest, stopping at the Pinda watchtower and the forest viewpoints along the climb. Reach Dalma Top for the Shiva temple and the views across the Subarnarekha valley, subject to Forest Department access conditions. Return to the foothills by afternoon and visit the Dalma Mata Mandir. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Dalma foothills.

Day 5: Jamshedpur – Departure

After breakfast, check out and drive into Jamshedpur. Visit Jubilee Park and the Tata Steel Zoological Park, followed by Sir Dorabji Tata Park and Bhuvaneshwari Temple at Telco if your departure time allows. Transfer to Sonari airport or Tatanagar railway station for your departure.
