Day 1: Arrival in Jamshedpur – Transfer to Dalma Foothills
Arrive in Jamshedpur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to your hotel in Jamshedpur or at the Dalma foothills, the base for the sanctuary. After checking in, visit Jubilee Park and the Tata Steel Zoological Park, followed by Sir Dorabji Tata Park. End the day at Dimna Lake, set against the Dalma range, watching the sunset over the water. Overnight stay in Jamshedpur.
Day 2: Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary
Start early and drive to the Makulakocha gate for entry permits and a stop at the Nature Interpretation Centre. Ascend the hill road through sal forest, stopping at the Pinda watchtower and the forest viewpoints along the climb. Reach Dalma Top for the Shiva temple and the views across the Subarnarekha valley. Return to the foothills by afternoon and visit Bhurkuda and the Dalma Mata Mandir. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Jamshedpur.
Day 3: Jamshedpur – Departure
After breakfast, visit Bhuvaneshwari Temple at Telco and Hudco Lake, followed by a stop at Rankini Temple in Jadugora if your departure time allows. Return to the hotel, check out, and transfer to Jamshedpur airport or Tatanagar railway station for your departure.

A very refreshing short getaway arranged by Ocean6 Holidays. We particularly enjoyed the drive from Makulakocha to Dalma Top, the forest viewpoints and the peaceful surroundings of the Shiva Temple. Dimna Lake at sunset was another memorable experience. The combination of nature, temples and Jamshedpur sightseeing made the itinerary perfect for a three-day break. Everything was handled professionally from arrival to departure.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed the Jamshedpur and Dalma tour organised by Ocean6 Holidays. Jubilee Park and Tata Steel Zoological Park were great for the children, while Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary was the favourite part for the adults. The views from Dalma Top were beautiful, and the Nature Interpretation Centre added an interesting educational experience. A nicely balanced family itinerary with good sightseeing and enough leisure time.
