Day 1: Arrival at Deoghar – Baidyanath Dham Darshan

Arrive at Deoghar railway station and meet our tour representative on the platform. Transfer to your hotel near the temple and check in. After freshening up, proceed for darshan at Baba Baidyanath Dham, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, subject to temple administration timings and queue conditions. Visit the temple complex, which holds twenty-one shrines within its walls, including the Parvati temple whose knot with the main shrine gives Deoghar its association with marital bonds. End the day at Shivganga tank beside the temple. Overnight stay in Deoghar.

Day 2: Deoghar Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit Naulakha Mandir, built in the style of the Belur Math temple, followed by the Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith campus and the Satsang Ashram. In the afternoon, drive to Trikut Pahar for the ropeway ascent, subject to operating conditions, with views across the plateau from the top. End the day at Tapovan Hill and Nandan Pahar. Overnight stay in Deoghar.

Day 3: Deoghar – Basukinath – Masanjore

Start with an early morning darshan at Baba Baidyanath Dham, generally the quietest hour at the temple. Return for breakfast and check out, then drive to Baba Basukinath Temple, traditionally visited after Baidyanath Dham to complete the darshan. Continue to Masanjore on the Mayurakshi river in the Santhal Parganas. Check in at your hotel or lodge above the reservoir. In the afternoon, walk the length of the dam wall and visit the Canada Bagan gardens beside it. End the day at the reservoir viewpoint for sunset over the water. Overnight stay in Masanjore.

Day 4: Masanjore at Leisure

After breakfast, take a boat ride on the Mayurakshi reservoir, subject to water conditions and operator availability. Walk the shoreline forest paths and visit the Irrigation Department bungalow area. Afternoon at leisure by the water. In the evening, drive out to the Santhal villages on the Dumka road and return to the dam viewpoint for the last light. Overnight stay in Masanjore.

Day 5: Masanjore – Dumka Departure

Start with an early morning walk along the reservoir shoreline, the quietest hour for birdlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast and check out. Drive to Dumka, visiting Shiv Pahar and the local market if your train time allows, before your drop at Dumka railway station for departure.
