Day 01: Arrival Mungpoo Cinchona Plantation and Village Lanes
Upon arrival at NJP Station or Bagdogra Airport you will begin a scenic transfer to Mungpoo via Sevoke, Kalijhora and Rambhi, a peaceful hill route of about 2.5 to 3 hours; after check-in at a cosy homestay near the cinchona plantation area enjoy a warm local lunch and relax with views of forested slopes and quiet village lanes, then in the afternoon take a gentle walk around the Cinchona Plantation observing the old colonial-era plantation landscape and slow mountain life, and spend the evening with tea, local snacks and a calm sunset from your stay. Day 02: Tagore Heritage Mungpoo Rabindra Bhavan and Plantation Roads
Start with breakfast and visit Rabindra Bhavan, the heritage bungalow associated with Rabindranath Tagore where the poet stayed during his visits to Mungpoo, continue through the cinchona factory area and nearby plantation roads learning about the medicinal history of the region and its quiet working-hill character, later enjoy a simple Nepali-style local meal followed by a short village walk through orange gardens, forest edges and small settlements, and in the late afternoon relax at a viewpoint or the homestay courtyard with tea while listening to local stories and soaking in the unhurried charm of Mungpoo. Day 03: Departure Mungpoo Return via Teesta Riverside Views
After breakfast check out from your homestay and begin your return transfer to NJP Station or Bagdogra Airport through the winding hill roads via Rambhi and Sevoke, with a possible brief stop for tea or riverside views along the Teesta depending on your departure time, concluding the tour with happy memories of your time in Mungpoo.
