Day 1: Arrival in Jodhpur – Transfer to Lakshman Sagar

Arrive in Jodhpur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Lakshman Sagar, approximately 134 km and around 2.5 hours by road, a 19th-century hunting lodge in Raipur village, Pali district, reimagined as a boutique retreat. Check in at one of the property’s twelve mud-and-stone cottages, built using materials sourced from the surrounding land. Spend the afternoon exploring the 32-acre grounds, the hand-carved rock pool set into the hillside, and the restored machans, originally built for tiger-spotting when this was a working hunting lodge, now used for watching wildlife and birdlife over the man-made lake. Dinner at the property in the evening. Overnight stay at Lakshman Sagar.

Day 2: Raipur Village Walk & Aravalli Nature Trail

A morning walk through Raipur village and the surrounding Aravalli countryside with a local guide, meeting farming and herding families and seeing the rural life that shapes the resort’s own “zero-kilometre” approach to building and cooking. The afternoon is at leisure by the pool, or spent on an optional excursion, Ranakpur Jain Temple for its marble-pillared halls, or the well-known roadside shrine at Om Banna on the Pali-Jodhpur highway. In the evening, return to the machans for birdwatching as the light fades. Overnight stay at Lakshman Sagar.

Day 3: Lakshman Sagar – Jodhpur Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Jodhpur, approximately 2.5 hours by road, for onward departure.
