Day 1: Arrival in Ranchi – Transfer to Hazaribagh

Arrive in Ranchi and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Hazaribagh, set on the plateau at around 2,000 feet, known for its cooler air and its wildlife sanctuary. Travel via the Patratu ghat road, stopping at the valley viewpoint and Patratu Dam for photographs. After checking in at your hotel, visit Hazaribagh Lake and the Canary Hill viewpoint for sunset over the town and the surrounding hills. Overnight stay in Hazaribagh.

Day 2: Hazaribagh Wildlife Sanctuary & Local Sightseeing

Start early and drive to Hazaribagh Wildlife Sanctuary at Pokharia, entering through the forest road for the watchtowers and the waterholes along the route, subject to permit and access conditions. Return for breakfast, then visit the Rajrappa Temple and the confluence of the Bhairavi and Damodar rivers, or the Konar Dam, depending on your interest and time. In the afternoon, visit the Hazaribagh town market and Jain temples nearby. Return for the evening at Canary Hill. Overnight stay in Hazaribagh.

Day 3: Hazaribagh – Ranchi Departure

Start with an early morning walk around Hazaribagh Lake. Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out. Drive to Ranchi, stopping at the Patratu Valley viewpoints and Ranchi Lake or Rock Garden if your departure time allows, before your drop at the airport or railway station.
