Day 1: Arrival in Udaipur – Transfer to Kumbhalgarh

Arrive in Udaipur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Kumbhalgarh, approximately 85 km and 2 to 3 hours by road through the Aravalli hills. Check in at your hotel, with the afternoon free to settle in. In the evening, attend the sound-and-light show at the fort, tickets bought in advance where currently running. Overnight stay in Kumbhalgarh.

Day 2: Kumbhalgarh Fort & Ranakpur Jain Temple

After an early breakfast, spend the morning exploring Kumbhalgarh Fort in detail, walking a stretch of its wall and visiting Badal Mahal at the summit, along with a selection of the temple ruins scattered through the complex. After lunch, drive to Ranakpur, about 30 km and 45 minutes to an hour away, to see the marble-pillared halls of the Adinatha Jain temple, timed for the temple’s afternoon opening to visitors. Return to Kumbhalgarh by evening. Overnight stay in Kumbhalgarh.

Day 3: Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary – Udaipur Departure

An early nature walk or jeep safari into Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary, home to leopards, wolves, sloth bears and four-horned antelope. After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Udaipur, approximately 2 to 3 hours by road, for onward departure.
