Day 01: Ghalaytar Arrival and Kanchenjunga Views
Upon arrival at NJP Station or Bagdogra Airport you will be greeted and transferred to Ghalaytar, a quiet village near Upper Sittong about 76 km from Siliguri, where you will check in to a simple village homestay or wooden cottage and enjoy a warm home‑cooked lunch; spend the afternoon strolling the nearby village lanes, orange groves, forest edges and viewpoint corners taking in peaceful hill scenery and distant Kanchenjunga views, then relax in the evening with tea and a slow sunset over the hills. Overnight stay in Ghalaytar.
Day 02: Sittong Trails and Ahaldara Viewpoint
After breakfast set out on a relaxed offbeat circuit around Sittong with village walks through orange gardens, quiet forest paths and small Lepcha hamlets, continue to Ahaldara Viewpoint for sweeping hill panoramas and, on clear days, Kanchenjunga vistas, then visit Namthing Pokhri near Latpanchar before returning for a local lunch of simple hill‑style dishes and spending the evening interacting with your homestay hosts, tasting seasonal oranges if visiting in winter and soaking up the calm rhythm of village life. Day 03: Ghalaytar Departure via Sevoke
After breakfast check out from your homestay and begin your return transfer toward NJP Station or Bagdogra Airport via Sittong and Sevoke with short photo stops if time permits, enjoying changing textures of tea gardens, forests, hill roads and river valleys along the drive before you reach your onward travel point; the tour concludes with happy memories of your time in Ghalaytar.
