Day 01: Leh Arrival and Acclimatization

Arrival at Leh airport where you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check in; spend a complete day at leisure for acclimatization with welcome tea and coffee served by the hotel, rest and relax to adjust to the altitude. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 02: Leh Market and Shanti Stupa

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Leh visiting Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa followed by visits to Magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the Sangam of Zanskar and Indus River, enjoy the local sights and culture during the day. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 03: Nubra Valley and Khardung La Pass

After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, admire the snow capped mountain vistas at the pass then descend to Nubra; en route and on arrival enjoy optional adventure activities like ATV rides on direct payment basis, check in to the hotel and visit the 108 ft Maitriya Buddha at Diskit Monastery and Hunder Sand Dunes where you can opt for a double humped camel ride on direct payment basis and take in panoramic views of the valley. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 04: Pangong Lake via Shyok Route

Drive following the route back towards Leh till Khalsar then turn left at Agyam bridge to traverse the villages of Shyok and Durbuk, continue via Tangtse to reach Pangong Lake; explore the lake area, visit the famous three Idiots shooting point, try local food at lakeside restaurants, relax at leisure and watch the colour changing waters and sunset on the banks of the lake. Overnight stay in Pangong.

Day 05: Hanle Village and Observatory

After breakfast drive to Hanle passing through Merak, Kastet, Chusul, Loma and Tsaga villages across partly rocky terrain; arrive at Hanle in the Changthang region, visit Hanle Monastery which offers sweeping aerial views of the village and surrounding plateau, learn about the 17th century monastery and its monastic life and note the nearby Indian astronomical observatory situated at around 4500 metres. Overnight in local homestay at Hanle.

Day 06: Tso Moriri Lake via Chushul and Karzok

After breakfast journey to Tso Moriri via Chushul and Karzok across the isolated Changthang plateau, arrive at Tso Moriri situated at about 4511 metres and spread over approx 140 sq km; spend the evening watching the shifting shadows of surrounding peaks on the lake and exploring the lakeshore and environs. Overnight stay at Tso Moriri.

Day 07: Leh Return via Tsokar and Tanglang La

After breakfast depart Tso Moriri and drive past Tsokar Lake known as the White Lake for its salt deposits and birdlife, continue toward the Manali Leh Highway and cross Tanglang La Pass at about 5328 metres enjoying spectacular high altitude scenery, proceed to Leh arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight stay. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 08: Leh Departure and Airport Transfer

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board your onward flight; conclude the tour with fond memories of Ladakh.
