Day 01: Sonmarg Thajiwas Glacier

On arrival at Srinagar airport drive to the panoramic village of Sonmarg (approx 2740–2800 meters), known as the Meadow of Gold and one of the most beautiful drives from Srinagar; you may take an optional pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains year round and enjoy views of snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. Overnight stay in Sonmarg.

Day 02: Kargil Zojila Pass

After breakfast drive from Sonmarg toward Kargil via the rough and wet road to Zojila Pass (3527 meters), the Gateway of Ladakh; continue through Drass (stop for tea and passport check), visit the War Memorial Hall and Museum, and proceed onward for a further drive to Kargil (2710 meters) where you will rest for the night. Overnight stay in Kargil.

Day 03: Leh Mulbek Magnetic Hill

After breakfast depart Kargil for Leh covering around 235 km; pass the Buddhist village of Mulbek with its giant rock Buddha, cross Fotula Pass (the highest pass on the Srinagar–Leh route), enjoy views at Nimu where the Zanskar meets the Indus, visit Magnetic Hill and Pathar Sahib Gurudwara enroute, and continue to reach Leh (approx 3500 meters). Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 04: Leh Shey Hemis Thiksey

After breakfast visit Sindhu Darshan on the banks of the Indus, then proceed to Shey Palace (the ancient summer capital), Hemis Gompa (the largest and wealthiest Drukpa Kagyu monastery built in 1630), Thiksey Monastery perched on a hill with stupas, statues and wall paintings, the Druk White Lotus School (Rancho School), Shanti Stupa built by Japanese monks, Leh Palace overlooking the town, and Leh market; return to Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 05: Nubra Khardungla Pass

After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (widely cited as the highest motorable road at about 18,390 feet), admire the surrounding snow‑capped ranges, proceed to Nubra where optional ATV rides are available on direct payment, check in to your hotel, visit Diskit Monastery to see the 108 ft Maitreya Buddha, and enjoy Hunder Sand Dunes with optional double‑humped camel rides (payable locally). Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 06: Pangong Shyok Route

Depart Nubra and drive back toward Leh until Khalsar, then take the left route via Agyam bridge to Shyok and Durbuk, follow the steep road to Tangtse and continue to Pangong Lake (situated at about 14,000 ft, partly in China), explore the lakeshore, visit the 3 Idiots filming point, try local food at small lakeside restaurants, and relax at the lake to enjoy the colour‑changing waters and sunset. Overnight stay in Pangong.

Day 07: Leh Changla Pass

Early morning sunrise at Pangong Lake, then after breakfast drive back to Leh with a short halt at Changla Pass for refreshments and mountain views before reaching Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 08: Leh Departure

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board your flight back to destination. Journey ends with sweet memories of Ladakh.
