Day 01: Leh Arrival and Acclimatization

Arrival at Leh airport where you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check in; the day is reserved for complete rest and acclimatization to high altitude with welcome tea and coffee served by the hotel, allowing you to relax, hydrate and recover from travel. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 02: Leh Local and Sham Valley

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Leh and Sham Valley visiting the Hall of Fame War Museum built by the Indian Army in memory of soldiers, Spituk Kali Mata Temple, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara constructed in memory of Guru Nanak, the Magnetic Hill where vehicles appear to defy gravity, the Sangam of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, Shanti Stupa built by Japanese monks to promote world peace, Leh Palace which overlooks the town and the local market; return to Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 03: Nubra Valley and Khardungla Pass

After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world; enjoy spectacular snow capped mountain views at Khardungla and proceed to Nubra where optional adventure activities like ATV rides are available on direct payment basis, then after hotel check in visit the 108 foot high Maitreya Buddha at Diskit, Diskit Monastery, Hunder Village and the Cold Desert where the unique double humped Bactrian camels are found and sand dune camel rides are available on direct payment basis. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 04: Turtuk and Thang Excursion from Nubra

After breakfast drive to Turtuk passing Thoise military airfield and visit the Turtuk wooden bridge, Shyok war memorial, Balti Heritage House and Museum and Turtuk Waterfalls; proceed to Thang Zero Point subject to operation for a photo stop near the Line of Control where Indian and Pakistani bunkers can be viewed and the Shyok river enters Pakistan, then return to Nubra for the night. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 05: Pangong Lake via Shyok and Durbuk

Depart Nubra after breakfast and follow the route back toward Leh until Khalsar, then take the left route from Agyam bridge toward Shyok and Durbuk, continue via Tangtse to reach Pangong Lake situated at about 14,000 feet where you can explore the lake area, visit the 03 Idiot shooting point, try local food at lakeside eateries and enjoy the colour changing lake and sunset on the banks. Overnight stay in Pangong.

Day 06: Tso Moriri via Chushul and Karzok

After breakfast drive to Tso Moriri via Chushul and Karzok across the vast Changthang plateau on an isolated and scenic trail; arrive at Tso Moriri at around 4,511 meters, spend the evening watching the changing shadows on the surrounding mountains and the varying depths and hues of the lake and explore the lakeside and its surroundings. Overnight stay at Tso Moriri.

Day 07: Tsokar and Taglangla Return to Leh

Post breakfast check out and drive to Tsokar Lake, known as the White Lake for its salt deposits and an important bird habitat including migratory species such as black necked cranes, then continue to join the Manali Leh highway and cross Tanglang La Pass at about 5,328 meters enjoying spectacular high altitude views before arriving in Leh in the evening for dinner. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 08: Leh Departure and Airport Transfer

Early morning transfer to Leh airport for your onward flight, concluding the journey with memories of Ladakh.
