Day 01: Arrival in Leh and Acclimatization

On arrival at Leh airport you will be received and transferred to the hotel for check in and a full day of rest for acclimatization to high altitude; no scheduled sightseeing to allow your body to adjust and recover from travel. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 02: Leh to Uleytokpo and Lamayuru Sights

After breakfast depart Leh and drive towards Uleytokpo / Lamayuru, en route visiting Spituk Kali Mata Temple and the Hall of Fame war museum constructed by the Indian Army, followed by Patthar Sahib Gurudwara, the Magnetic Hill gravity point and the Sangam of Indus and Zanskar rivers; continue to Lamayuru to witness the mesmerizing moon landscape and the Lamayuru Monastery before checking in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Uleytokpo / Lamayuru.

Day 03: Uleytokpo to Leh and Heritage Monasteries

After breakfast drive back to Leh visiting Alchi village and the ancient Alchi Monastery renowned for its 11th–12th century wall paintings, continue to Likir Monastery with its impressive Buddha, then visit Shanti Stupa built to promote world peace and Leh Palace overlooking the town; finish with time in Leh market. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 04: Leh to Nubra Valley and Khardungla Pass

After breakfast depart for Nubra Valley via Khardung La pass, enjoy spectacular high mountain views at one of the highest motorable roads, proceed to Nubra (via Khardungla) and after hotel check in visit Diskit Monastery with the 108 ft Maitreya Buddha, Hunder village and the cold desert with sand dunes where twin humped camels are found and optional camel/ATV rides available on direct payment. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 05: Nubra to Turtuk and Thang Excursion

After breakfast drive to Turtuk passing Thoise airfield and visiting Turtuk wooden bridge, Shyok war memorial, Balti Heritage House and Museum and Turtuk waterfalls; subject to operations proceed to Thang (Zero Point) for photo stop near the Line of Control to view bunkers and the Shyok river before returning to Nubra. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 06: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok and Durbuk

After breakfast drive from Nubra towards Leh till Khalsar, take the route via Agyam bridge to Shyok and Durbuk then Tangtse following the traditional route to Pangong Lake; explore the lake shores, visit the 03 Idiot shooting points, try local food at lakeside eateries and enjoy the colour changing lake and sunset. Overnight stay in Pangong.

Day 07: Pangong Lake to Leh and Monastery Visits

Early morning enjoy sunrise over Pangong Lake, after breakfast drive back to Leh with a halt at Changla Pass for tea, en route visit Shey Palace and Thiksay Monastery with its stupas and thangkas, continue to Hemis Monastery to see its historic wall paintings and thangkas, then arrive and check in at your hotel in Leh. Overnight stay in Leh.
