I spent three days here and my camera barely left my hand. The panoramic framing of the palaces against the shimmering water is breathtaking, especially during the golden hour. Despite being so close to the vibrant energy of Udaipur, the Haveli itself is a sanctuary of intimate lakeside tranquility. The service was impeccable, the rooms were flawlessly curated with royal nostalgia, and the ambiance was pure bliss.
As someone who deeply appreciates architecture and history, Amet Haveli blew me away. It perfectly preserves the majestic soul of Mewar without feeling like a commercial, crowded resort. The intricate stone carvings, the traditional courtyards, and the vintage charm transport you back in time. The staff treats you with genuine Rajput hospitality. It’s peaceful, culturally rich, and absolutely mesmerizing.
We chose Amet Haveli for our anniversary, and it felt like stepping straight into a painting. Waking up to the sunrise painting Lake Pichola in gold was an unforgettable experience. The views of the City Palace and Jag Niwas (Lake Palace) are arguably the best in Udaipur. Dining by the water under the stars at their restaurant was the highlight of our trip. If you are looking for serene luxury and a deeply romantic vibe, this heritage jewel is unmatched.
