Day 01: Tokyo Arrival and Hotel Transfer
Meet and greet at Haneda or Narita Airport followed by private transfer from the airport to your Tokyo hotel. Overnight stay in Tokyo.
Day 02: Tokyo Asakusa and Skytree
After breakfast you will visit Asakusa Sensoji Shrine, explore the Nakamise shopping street outside the temple, then proceed to Tokyo Skytree for panoramic city views; time permitting the itinerary includes TeamLab Planets (subject to availability). Sightseeing is by private vehicle for up to 10 hours. Overnight stay in Tokyo.
Day 03: Mount Fuji and Hakone Excursion
After an early breakfast enjoy an excursion to Mt. Fuji with a visit to the Mt. Fuji 5th Station, a Lake Ashi 30‑minute cruise offering views of Mt. Fuji on clear days, and a ride on the Hakone Ropeway overlooking Owakudani and Hakone; Mt. Fuji visibility is weather dependent. Sightseeing is by private vehicle for up to 10 hours. Overnight stay in Tokyo.
Day 04: Tokyo Ueno and Shinjuku
After an early breakfast visit Ueno Zoo and Ueno Park, explore the Tokyo National Museum, then visit Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden (entry payable direct JPY 500), see the Cat Billboard and the Godzilla head at Hotel Gracery, and spend the evening in Golden Gai. Sightseeing is by private vehicle for up to 10 hours. Overnight stay in Tokyo.
Day 05: Tokyo to Kyoto Transfer
After breakfast transfer by private vehicle to Tokyo Station, travel intercity to Kyoto by Shinkansen, and transfer from Kyoto Station to your hotel by private vehicle. Optional luggage direct transfer to Osaka is available on direct payment and is recommended. Overnight stay in Kyoto.
Day 06: Kyoto Fushimi and Arashiyama
After breakfast visit Fushimi Inari Taisha (famous torii hike of about 2 hours to the summit shrine), walk through Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, visit the Kyoto Railway Museum, Kiyomizu‑dera (part of the UNESCO Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto) and Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion). Sightseeing is by private vehicle for up to 10 hours. Overnight stay in Kyoto.
Day 07: Osaka Castle and Aquarium
After breakfast transfer to Osaka by private vehicle and visit Osaka Castle, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, Umeda Sky Building observation decks and Dotonbori. Hotel transfer and sightseeing are by private vehicle. Overnight stay in Osaka.
Day 08: Osaka Universal Studios
After breakfast enjoy a full day at Universal Studios Japan; vehicle is provided for hotel pickup and drop only. Alternatively guests may opt to visit Hiroshima on this day for an additional supplement—advance notice required. Overnight stay in Osaka.
Day 09: Osaka Nara Excursion
After breakfast take a private excursion to Nara to visit Nara Deer Park and Todaiji Temple, home to the large bronze Buddha statue. Sightseeing is by private vehicle for up to 10 hours. Overnight stay in Osaka.
Day 10: Osaka Departure Kansai Airport
Private transfer from your Osaka hotel to Kansai Airport for your onward flight. End of tour.

We travelled to Japan with Ocean6 Holidays and were very satisfied with the overall planning and assistance. As senior travellers, comfort, timing and reliable transfers were extremely important to us. The private airport transfers and sightseeing vehicles made the journey much easier.
We particularly enjoyed Sensoji Temple, the Tokyo National Museum, Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, Lake Ashi, Kinkakuji Temple, Osaka Castle and Todaiji Temple. The itinerary included many attractions, so some days were quite active, but the experience was rewarding.
