Day 01: Leh Arrival and Acclimatization

Arrival at Leh airport where you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check in and a full day of rest to acclimatize to the high altitude; the hotel will serve welcome tea and coffee and you may relax and take it easy while adjusting to the thinner air. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 02: Leh Sham Valley and Monasteries

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing in Sham Valley visiting Spituk Gompa, the Hall of Fame War Museum built by the Indian Army, Patthar Sahib Gurudwara, the Gravity Hill also known as Magnetic Hill, the Sangam of Indus and Zanskar rivers, Shanti Stupa constructed by Japanese monks for world peace, and the historic Leh Palace followed by time at the Leh Market. Return to Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 03: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass

After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (about 125 km, 5–6 hours) with spectacular views of snow capped ranges at the highest motorable road; en route enjoy photo stops at Khardungla, proceed to Nubra with optional adventure activities like ATV rides on direct payment basis, check in at the hotel and later visit Diskit Monastery to see the 108 ft Maitreya Buddha and Hunder Sand Dunes where you may opt for a double humped camel ride on direct payment basis while enjoying the valley vistas. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 04: Nubra Turtuk and Border Villages

After breakfast drive to Turtuk, the border village opened to tourists since 2010 that was under Pakistan until 1971; visit the Thoise military airfield area en route, Turtuk wooden bridge, the Shyok war memorial, Balti Heritage House and Museum, Turtuk Waterfalls and nearby Thang Zero Point (subject to operation) for photo stops near the Line of Control, then return to Nubra. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 05: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok and Durbuk

Drive from Nubra towards Leh until Khalsar, then turn left at Agyam bridge toward Shyok and Durbuk and continue via Tangtse to Pangong Lake (approximately 165 km, 6 hours); explore the lake shoreline, visit the 03 Idiot shooting point, try local food at small lakeside restaurants, enjoy leisure time watching the color changing waters and sunset over the brackish lake that straddles the India China border. Overnight stay in Pangong.

Day 06: Pangong Lake to Leh via Changla Pass

Early morning enjoy sunrise views at Pangong Lake, then after breakfast depart for Leh (about 155 km, 5 hours) with a halt at Changla Pass for hot tea and photos, arriving in Leh in the evening for rest. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 07: Leh Shey Hemis Thiksey and Rancho School

After breakfast drive to Sindhu Darshan on the banks of the Indus River, then visit Shey Palace, Hemis Gompa with its famed wall paintings and Thangka collection, Thiksey Monastery perched on a hill with stupas and statues, and the Druk White Lotus or Rancho School; enjoy some free time in Leh afterwards. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 08: Leh Departure and Airport Transfer

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board your flight back to your onward destination; the tour concludes with fond memories of Ladakh.
