Day 01: Habarana Pinnawala and Sigiriya

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and driver, then proceed by private transfer through scenic countryside to Habarana, with a possible stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to observe and learn about rescued elephants; on arrival check in at the hotel, refresh and enjoy lunch in Habarana, then in the afternoon climb the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock to explore the ancient fortress, frescoes and gardens followed by a traditional Sri Lankan village experience with a cart ride and hands on cultural activities; dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Habarana.

Day 02: Kandy Dambulla and Cultural Show

After breakfast at the hotel proceed for a Habarana city tour and continue to the Dambulla Golden Cave Temple to view the Buddha statues and cave paintings, then visit a local herbal and spice garden for a guided tour and insights into Ayurvedic herbs and spices; proceed to Kandy for lunch, check in at your hotel and in the evening attend the vibrant Kandy Cultural Show featuring traditional dance and music, followed by dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 03: Nuwara Eliya Temple and Tea Factory

Enjoy breakfast at your Kandy hotel then visit the Gem Museum and the Temple of the Tooth Relic to witness daily rituals at this sacred Buddhist shrine; proceed by scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya through misty hills and tea plantations with a lunch stop en route, then tour a tea factory and estate to learn the tea making process and sample fresh Ceylon tea; later visit Seetha Amman Temple and relax at Gregory Lake before dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 04: Ella Nine Arch and Adams Peak

After breakfast transfer to the train station for the breathtaking scenic train journey towards Ella through tea country, arrive and visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge and hike up Mini Adam’s Peak for panoramic views of Ella and surrounding hills; enjoy lunch on the way, then travel from Ella towards the southern coast with a stop at Mirissa Beach to relax; continue to Unawatuna for evening beach time and dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Unawatuna.

Day 05: Bentota Galle Fort and Turtle Hatchery

Have breakfast then depart the southern coast to explore historic Galle Fort with its cobblestone streets, boutiques and ocean views, visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to learn about sea turtle conservation, and enjoy a scenic Madu River boat safari through mangroves; have lunch en route and then transfer to Bentota for dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 06: Colombo City and Lotus Tower

After breakfast depart Bentota for Colombo by private transfer, enjoy Colombo city sightseeing including Independence Square and other landmarks, have lunch in Colombo, visit the Colombo Lotus Tower for panoramic city views (entry fee noted separately), and in the evening experience Colombo’s nightlife options such as casinos before dinner at an outside restaurant and relaxation at your Colombo hotel. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 07: Colombo Gangaramaya and Seema Malakaya

Begin with a leisurely breakfast at your Colombo hotel and visit Gangaramaya Temple and Seema Malakaya to explore their architecture and collections, enjoy lunch in Colombo and free time for shopping or optional activities, experience Colombo’s nightlife if desired, and have dinner at an outside restaurant before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 08: Katunayake Airport Departure

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed by private transfer to Katunayake International Airport for check in and departure, concluding your Sri Lanka tour. No overnight stay as this is departure day.
