We booked the Tukvar tour through Ocean6 Holidays for a short romantic getaway and absolutely loved it. The Kanchenjunga views from the tea gardens were breathtaking on clear mornings, and the Ropeway valley views added a beautiful touch to the trip. Evenings with hot tea, momos and the peaceful hill atmosphere made us slow down and truly enjoy the mountains. Everything from transport to stay was smooth and comfortable.
The best part of the Tukvar experience arranged by Ocean6 Holidays was how authentic and local the journey felt. We enjoyed village walks, tea estate life and simple but delicious hill food including thukpa, momos and sel roti. The homestay owners were warm and welcoming, and the itinerary never felt rushed. It was a refreshing alternative to the usual crowded Darjeeling sightseeing tours.
