Day 1: Arrival in Rewa – City & Rani Talab

Arrive in Khajuraho and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Rewa is the practical base for this trip: it has the accommodation and rail links, and sits within easy reach of both Mukundpur and Maihar. Check in at your hotel, then spend the afternoon in and around the city, the Rani Talab lake with its Kali temple, the city gardens, and, if time and interest allow, a drive out toward Govindgarh, the palace linked to the story of Mohan, the first white tiger. Overnight stay in Rewa.

Day 2: Mukundpur White Tiger Safari & Zoo

After breakfast, drive to Mukundpur, approximately 27 km and around 45 minutes by road. This is the heart of the tour: the Maharaja Martand Singh Judeo White Tiger Safari and Zoo, the world’s first dedicated white-tiger safari, spread across 100 hectares. See the white tigers in the large enclosure viewing, along with the wider zoo, which houses Bengal tigers, sloth bears, and a range of endangered and non-endangered species, plus the gallery and butterfly park. The site is well landscaped, with battery-operated vehicles and cycles for getting around. This is a controlled, family-friendly wildlife experience rather than a wild jungle safari, comfortable, walkable, and reliable for actually seeing the animals. Return to Rewa in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Rewa.

Day 3: Maihar Sharda Devi – Departure

After an early breakfast, check out and drive to Maihar, for the Sharda Devi temple, one of the most revered Shakti shrines in Central India, set atop the Trikuta hill, reached by a long climb of steps or a ropeway. Take darshan, then continue to your onward point, Maihar itself is on the main rail line, or transfer onward toward Khajuraho or Jabalpur depending on your plan. Trip ends on departure.
