Day 1: Arrival in Jodhpur – Transfer to Pokaran – Fort & Pottery Village

Arrive in Jodhpur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Pokaran, approximately 160 to 180 km and around 3 to 3.5 hours by road, a town on the Jodhpur-Jaisalmer highway known for its heritage fort and its distinctive pale-pink terracotta pottery. Check in at Fort Pokaran, still partly maintained by the town’s royal family, and spend the afternoon exploring its rooms, including a small display of Baba Ramdevji’s own wearables and weapons, before walking through Kumharon ki Pol, the potters’ quarter, to see the craft that gives the town its name among collectors. Overnight stay in Pokaran.

Day 2: Ramdevra Temple & Ramsagar Talab

A short transfer to Ramdevra, about 12 to 14 km away, to visit the temple built around the samadhi of Baba Ramdevji, the 14th-century saint revered by Hindus as an incarnation of Krishna and by Muslims as Ramshah Pir, a genuinely unifying figure in Rajasthan’s folk religious tradition. See Ramsagar Talab, the tank believed to have been built by Ramdevji himself, and Parcha Bavdi, a large stepwell just north of the temple. Return to Pokaran for the rest of the day. Overnight stay in Pokaran.

Day 3: Pokaran – Jodhpur Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Jodhpur, approximately 3 to 3.5 hours by road, for onward departure. Travellers continuing on to Jaisalmer, about 110 to 120 km further along the same road, can just as naturally carry on in that direction instead.
