Day 1: Arrival in Udaipur – Transfer to Narlai

Arrive in Udaipur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Narlai, approximately 125 km and around 2.5 to 3 hours by road, a small village in the Desuri tehsil of Pali district, sitting almost at the midpoint of the Udaipur-Jodhpur route. Check in at Rawla Narlai, a restored 17th-century royal lodge. In the afternoon, take a village walk with a local guide through Narlai’s lanes and temples, the Adinath Jain Temple and Shree Aai Mata Ji Mandir among them, ending with a climb up Elephant Hill, a granite monolith shaped like a reclining elephant, to the Jakalji Mahadev Cave Temple for sunset views over the village. In the evening, travel by bullock cart to Ambabag, the village’s centuries-old stepwell, for a candlelit dinner lit entirely by oil lamps. Overnight stay in Narlai.

Day 2: Ranakpur Excursion & Rural Experience

A morning excursion to Ranakpur Jain Temple, one of Jainism’s most significant marble temple complexes, its carved pillars and domes among the finest examples of the craft. In the afternoon, choose between a Marwari horse ride through the surrounding Aravalli countryside, an optional leopard safari where currently offered, or simply time at the pool. Overnight stay in Narlai.

Day 3: Narlai – Udaipur Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Udaipur, approximately 2.5 to 3 hours by road, for onward departure.
