Day 1: Arrival in Pune – Transfer to Mulshi

Arrive in Mumbai or Pune and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Mulshi, a valley west of Pune built around the Mulshi Dam and its backwaters, known for its lake-facing properties, forts and quiet roads. The drive from Pune takes around an hour and a half; from Mumbai it is longer and runs through the ghat section. After checking in at your hotel, visit the Mulshi Dam and take the lake road along the backwaters. End the day at Temghar Dam or at one of the viewpoints above the water for sunset. Overnight stay in Mulshi.

Day 2: Tamhini Ghat, the Forts and the Backwater Circuit

After breakfast, drive through Tamhini Ghat, a wooded pass that runs down towards the Konkan side, with seasonal waterfalls and valley views along the road. Continue to the Devkund Waterfall base if the season and your fitness allow, or turn back and visit the Plus Valley viewpoint. In the afternoon, drive to the base of Koraigad Fort near Lonavala, a short and manageable climb with views over both Mulshi and Pawna, or visit the Dhangar Falls and the villages along the lake road. Return to your property in the evening. Overnight stay in Mulshi.

Day 3: Mulshi – Pune Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Take a last drive along the backwaters, or stop at the Vithalwadi Temple or the Mulshi Dam viewpoint depending on your departure time, then transfer back to Mumbai or Pune for your onward journey.
