Day 1: Arrival in Haldwani / Kathgodam – Transfer to Mukteshwar

Arrive in Haldwani or Kathgodam and meet our tour representative at the railway station or bus stand. Transfer to Mukteshwar, a ridge settlement at roughly 2,285 m known for its orchards, pine and oak cover and its open view of the Himalayan range. The drive takes roughly 2.5 to 3 hours through Bhowali and Ramgarh, with the last stretch climbing steadily along a narrow ridge road. After checking in at your hotel, visit the Mukteshwar Dham temple, followed by Chauli Ki Jali, the rock ledge behind the temple where the ridge falls away sharply. End the day at the Mukteshwar viewpoint as the range picks up the last light. Overnight stay in Mukteshwar.

Day 2: Mukteshwar Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the Indian Veterinary Research Institute campus, established in 1893, for its colonial-era buildings and the museum on site. Continue to Bhalu Gaad Waterfall, reached by a walk of roughly 1.5 km each way through forest. In the afternoon, drive out to Sitla and Satkhol for the orchard country and quieter ridge views, then return via Ramgarh, the fruit belt of Kumaon, for apple and peach orchards depending on season. Those who want activity can take the rock climbing, rappelling or zip lining available near Chauli Ki Jali. Overnight stay in Mukteshwar.

Day 3: Mukteshwar – Haldwani / Kathgodam Departure

Start with an early visit to the Mukteshwar sunrise point for first light on the Nanda Devi and Trishul range, followed by a walk through the orchard lanes around the settlement. Return to the hotel for breakfast, check out, and descend towards the plains. Depending on your departure time, stop at Bhimtal for the lake and aquarium, or at the Bhowali fruit market for local produce and preserves, before transferring to Kathgodam railway station or Haldwani for your onward journey.
