Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai / Pune – Transfer to Morachi Chincholi

Arrive in Mumbai or Pune and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Morachi Chincholi, a village on the Pune-Ahmednagar side roughly 55 km from Pune, named for its peacocks and its old tamarind groves. Accommodation here is agri-tourism farm stays rather than hotels. After checking in, take the evening walk through the tamarind groves with a local guide, when peacocks come down to feed and roost. Spend the evening at the farm with bullock cart rides, village games and a Maharashtrian farm dinner. Overnight stay at the farm.

Day 2: Ranjangaon, Bhuleshwar and the Village

An early start for the morning walk, when peacock activity is at its highest. After breakfast, drive to Ranjangaon, around 30 km away, for the Mahaganapati Temple, one of the eight Ashtavinayak shrines. Continue to the Bhuleshwar Temple on a hill near Yavat, a 13th-century Yadava-period stone temple with carved panels, reached by a short climb. Return to the farm by late afternoon for a slower evening: farm activities, a bullock cart ride through the fields, or simply the grove at dusk. Overnight stay at the farm.

Day 3: Morachi Chincholi – Mumbai / Pune Departure

After an early grove walk and breakfast, check out from the farm. Stop at the Morgaon Mayureshwar Temple, the first of the Ashtavinayak circuit, or at Shirur depending on your route and departure time. Transfer back to Mumbai or Pune for your onward journey.
