Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun / Haridwar – Transfer to Landour

Arrive in Dehradun or Haridwar and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Landour, a quiet cantonment settlement above Mussoorie known for its deodar slopes, colonial-era churches and slow walking pace. The drive takes roughly 2 to 2.5 hours from Dehradun and 3 to 3.5 hours from Haridwar, with the final stretch climbing steeply through Mussoorie. After checking in at your hotel, walk up to Char Dukan for tea and pancakes, visit St Paul’s Church, and continue to Lal Tibba, the highest point in the area, for views towards the Bandarpunch and Gangotri ranges on a clear evening. Overnight stay in Landour.

Day 2: Landour Sightseeing

After breakfast, set out on the Landour Chakkar, the round walk that circles the cantonment ridge and passes Kellogg Memorial Church, the Landour Language School and the old Clock Tower. Continue to Sisters Bazaar for Prakash’s Store, still stocked with its own peanut butter, cheese and jams. Break for lunch at Landour Bakehouse. In the afternoon, descend to Mussoorie for Camel’s Back Road, a browse at Cambridge Book Depot on Mall Road, and the Gun Hill ropeway for sunset over the Doon Valley. Return to Landour for the evening. Overnight stay in Landour.

Day 3: Landour – Dehradun / Haridwar Departure

Start with an early drive to George Everest House at Park Estate, followed by a short stop at Cloud’s End where the ridge road ends. Return to the hotel for breakfast, check out, and descend to Dehradun. Depending on your departure time, stop at the Forest Research Institute or Robber’s Cave before transferring to Dehradun airport, or continue to Haridwar for your onward journey.
