Day 1: Arrival in Haldwani / Kathgodam – Transfer to Khurpatal

Arrive in Haldwani or Kathgodam and meet our tour representative at the railway station or bus stand. Transfer to Khurpatal, a small lake settlement below Nainital known for its quiet water and pine-covered slopes. The drive takes roughly 1 to 1.5 hours, climbing steadily through Jyolikot before the road branches away from the main Nainital route. After checking in at your hotel, walk the lake perimeter road, which stays largely free of the crowds Nainital carries, and stop at the Khurpatal viewpoint on the Kaladhungi road where the lake sits framed by the ridge. End the day watching the water change colour as the light drops. Overnight stay in Khurpatal.

Day 2: Khurpatal and Nainital Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive up to Nainital for Naini Lake and a boat ride, followed by Naina Devi Temple beside the water and a walk along the Mall Road. Continue to Snow View Point by ropeway for the Nanda Devi and Trishul range on a clear day. In the afternoon, head towards Sattal for its cluster of interlinked lakes and birding trails, then return through Bhimtal for the lake island and the Bhimtal Aquarium. Return to Khurpatal for a quiet evening by the water. Overnight stay in Khurpatal.

Day 3: Khurpatal – Haldwani / Kathgodam Departure

Start with an early visit to Hanuman Garhi for sunrise over the Kumaon foothills, followed by a stop at the Himalayan Botanical Garden at Nainital. Return to the hotel for breakfast, check out, and descend towards the plains. Depending on your departure time, stop at Corbett Falls or the Jim Corbett Museum at Kaladhungi on the alternative route down, before transferring to Kathgodam railway station or Haldwani for your onward journey.
