Day 1: Bangalore – Kemmangundi

Depart Bangalore early by road, approximately 280 km and 6 to 7 hours via NH75 through Chikkamagaluru. Check in at your homestay or resort by evening. Visit Raja’s Seat and the Rock Garden nearby, developed originally as a summer retreat for the Mysore royal family, for a relaxed evening view over the hills. Overnight stay in Kemmangundi.

Day 2: Hebbe Falls

After breakfast, a jeep transfer through dense forest and coffee plantation followed by a trek to Hebbe Falls, a two-stage waterfall dropping around 550 feet, known locally for its cool pools and the medicinal herbs said to grow in the surrounding hills. This is a substantial half-day to full-afternoon excursion given the distance and terrain. Return to Kemmangundi by evening. Overnight stay in Kemmangundi.

Day 3: Z Point and Kalhatti Falls – Bangalore Departure

After an early breakfast, a trek of about 3 km from Raja’s Seat to Z Point, passing Shanti Falls along the way, for a panoramic view over the surrounding valleys. Return and check out, then visit Kalhatti Falls, about 10 km away, a waterfall associated with the sage Agastya, flowing past an ancient temple linked to the Vijayanagara period. Depart on the return drive to Bangalore, arriving by late evening.
