Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai / Pune – Transfer to Diveagar

Arrive in Mumbai or Pune and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Diveagar, a coastal village on the Raigad shoreline about 170 km from Mumbai, with a long stretch of beach backed by suru and coconut plantations. Accommodation here is largely homestays and small beach resorts rather than hotels. After checking in, walk the beach through the casuarina belt to the shore. Visit the Suvarna Ganesh Temple in the village, then end the day at the northern end of the beach for sunset. Overnight stay in Diveagar.

Day 2: Harihareshwar, Shrivardhan and the Coast Road

After breakfast, drive south along the coast to Shrivardhan, around 20 km away, the ancestral village of the Peshwas, with its long beach and the Peshwa memorial. Continue to Harihareshwar, roughly 15 km further, for the Kalbhairav Temple and the rock shelf walk around the headland where the Savitri river meets the sea. The pradakshina route runs over wet, uneven rock and is timed around the tide. Return north in the afternoon, stopping at Kondivali or Bharadkhol beach on the way. Back at Diveagar for the evening. Overnight stay in Diveagar.

Day 3: Diveagar – Mumbai/ Pune Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Visit the Rupnarayan Temple in the village or take a last walk on the beach, depending on your departure time. Transfer back to Mumbai or Pune for your onward journey, with the option of the Dighi-Agardanda ferry if you are routing further south.
