Day 1: Arrival in Udaipur – Transfer to Deogarh

Arrive in Udaipur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Deogarh, approximately 125 to 135 km and around 3 hours by road, a small town sitting at the meeting point of Mewar, Marwar and Merwara. Check in at Deogarh Mahal, the 17th-century hilltop palace that is the town’s central attraction, and take a guided tour of the property, its Bada Mahal, the wall-paintings attributed to the Deogarh school of miniature artists, and the rooftop views across the surrounding lakes and Aravalli hills. In the evening, join a hands-on miniature painting workshop to learn the technique firsthand. Overnight stay in Deogarh.

Day 2: Ranakpur & Kumbhalgarh Excursion

A full day out to two of the region’s most significant sights, easily reached from Deogarh: Ranakpur Jain Temple, for its marble-pillared halls, and Kumbhalgarh Fort, for its long defensive wall and views over the Aravallis. Return to Deogarh in the evening for dinner, with time to browse the town’s handicraft and textile shops. Overnight stay in Deogarh.

Day 3: Deogarh – Udaipur Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Udaipur, approximately 3 hours by road, for onward departure.
