The Cellular Jail – Andaman & Nicobar Islands

Kala Pani or Cellular Jail is a prison. Cellular Jail is situated in Port Blair which is the capital city of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. This is famous as a colonist prison. Many great freedom fighters were imprisoned in this jail and many others were also executed here. This jail was supposed to have been built from the year 1896 to 1906. This is a historical place and will evoke a lot of patriotic emotions while you take a tour of the place.
